Ayala Foundation Disaster Campaign

Among the Foundation's major programs is the provision of emergency assistance and relief to communities affected by disasters such as Typhoon Rai. A donation of:

  • US$10 will provide rice, noodles, canned goods and noodles for a family of 5
  • US$20 can cover the cost of roofing materials for damaged structures
  • US$50 can fund rehabilitation works for schools in disaster hit areas

Super Typhoon Rai, known locally as Odette, is the 15th typhoon to hit the Philippines this year affecting cities and provinces in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao including sev- eral heavily populated areas. Urgent relief efforts are underway to provide food, water, clothes, blankets, hygiene kits and medicines in Cagayan de Oro, Dinagat Islands, Siargao, Butuan, Cebu, Bohol, Eastern Samar, Southern Leyte and El Nido in Palawan. Damages to homes and schools have been reported including the lack of water, electricity and communications.
