Yin Minn latt

Field Advisor, Myanmar


Yin Minn Latt was born in Thanlyin township of Yangon Region, Republic of the Union of Myanmar. She holds a Bachelor of Agriculture Science (B.Agr.Sc) from Yezin Agricultural University and currently studying an Executive Master of Development Studies at Yangon University of Economics. She has 7 years of experience working as a program manager to various international development organizations in Myanmar to contribute her expertise in livelihoods and agriculture to the vulnerable and hard to reach communities in Myanmar. She previously worked at World Vision International as a response manager, Food and Agriculture Organization as program officer, Oxfam as program coordinator, Solidarites International as program Manager and CESVI as senior agronomist. Her work experience enabled her to specialize in both humanitarian and community development programs in the country. Before joining the non-profit sector, Yin also worked at the Myanmar government’s Department of Agriculture as Deputy Staff Officer for about 10 years after her graduation from Yezin Agricultural University. Currently she is working  full time with International Institute of Rural Reconstruction (IIRR) in Myanmar as Country Program Officer.
