San Francisco, CA - Today, Give2Asia – a U.S.-based nonprofit organization promoting philanthropy to Asia – announces a new partnership with the Asian Venture Philanthropy Network to develop venture philanthropy in Asia. In April, Give2Asia proudly joined AVPN as a founding member; and this month, AVPN joins Give2Asia’s network of fiscal sponsorship partners.
Fiscal sponsorship is designed to allow charitable organizations across the Asia-Pacific region to fundraise with their supporters in the United States. Give2Asia now has over 140 fiscal sponsorship partners.
About Asian Venture Philanthropy Network
Based in Singapore, the Asian Venture Philanthropy Network is growing and developing the venture philanthropy community across the Asia Pacific region. It promotes venture philanthropy in the broader philanthropic and social investment communities and provides specific networking and learning activities for its membership.
The membership of AVPN is located across Asia and brings together organizations and individuals from finance, business and the social sector. Its members include venture philanthropy organizations (practicing members) and associates. AVPN aims to become the hub for news and events focused on venture philanthropy and to develop shared learning and best practices. Currently, it is developing practitioner-oriented resources to help scale the practice of venture philanthropy across Asia.
