Prapti Upadhyay Anand is the author of the research publication, “Levers For Change: Philanthropy in select SE Asian Countries” and a consultant based in Singapore with experience in strategic philanthropy, community development and nonprofit management.
Prior to leading the 2-year research study on philanthropy at the Lien Centre for Social Innovation, which culminated in the“Levers for Change” report, Prapti consulted with the SingHealth Foundation in Singapore on grantmaking strategy and processes. Prapti honed her experience in strategic philanthropy at The California Endowment, a private foundation in the United States focused on public health, where she was responsible for disbursing and managing an annual grants portfolio of approximately USD 10 million.
She has worked with community organizations, think tanks and in academia on diverse issues including, public health, sustainable community development, women’s empowerment and economic development. She holds a Masters in Communication Management from the Annenberg School at The University of Southern California, as well as a Master’s in Sociology from Tribhuvan University, Nepal.
