Linda has been the Director of her own fundraising consultancy, Linda Griffith Consultancy Pty Ltd, since 1998.
The company has 2 strands: fundraising and grantmaking. It provides strategic fundraising planning and mentoring, board, staff and volunteer training, feasibility studies, internal audits and project work in fund raising for large education organisations notably universities. It also undertakes grant making, research, due diligence, reviews, audits, policy making and procedures development, and strategic advice for charitable trusts, corporations and private benefactors. The company consults principally in education constituent relations and fundraising and in grant making.
Prior to establishing her consultancy, Linda ran the fundraising programs at the University of Queensland where she helped establish the Development Office in 1988.
She is a University of Queensland Honours graduate, holds a Masters from the University of Strasbourg and a Masters and a Doctorate from the University of Paris-Sorbonne. She has extensive experience in business, public relations and writing.
In 2000 she was made a life-time Fellow of ADAPE (Association of Development and Alumni Professionals in Education). She is a member of Fundraising Institute of Australia (FIA). She holds numerous national awards for constituent relations and fundraising.
