Founder & Managing Principal, Peridot Capital Partners LLC

Freda Lam Zietlow is the Founder and Managing Principal of Peridot Capital Partners LLC, a private wealth management firm based in San Francisco, California. After a successful career with some of the leading financial institutions, Freda now focuses on what she finds most fulfilling – helping families as their trusted advisor, bringing the peace of mind that sound investment and financial planning decisions are being made for them and their next generations. Freda brings two decades of deep investment experience across different asset classes globally and advises clients on a wide range of complex financial planning issues.   

Prior to founding Peridot Capital Partners, Freda was a Director of Bingham Osborn & Scarborough (BOS), a wealth management firm with over $4.0 billion under management.  Freda was responsible for some of the firm’s largest and most sophisticated investment portfolios.  As a key member of BOS’s Investment Committee, Freda led research on real estate, private equity, as well as socially responsible investments.

Prior to BOS, Freda was a Vice President of Fremont Realty Capital, responsible for over $1.0 billion of private real estate investments nationally.  Freda was formerly an investment banker and bond research analyst with JPMorgan in New York and Hong Kong. She began her career as a real estate development executive at the Trump Organization in New York City.

Freda graduated with High Honors from University of California, Berkeley with a BA in Architecture. She earned an MS in Real Estate from Columbia University and an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School. Freda has held the Chartered Financial Analyst designation since 2002.

Active in the community, Freda serves and has served on a number of non-profit and corporate boards, including Bank of the Orient, Give2Asia, the 1990 Institute, the Financial Planning Association of San Francisco, Global Montessori International School and Piedmont ALPS.  

Freda resides in Piedmont, California with her husband and two children.  She enjoys travel, food, art and volunteering work with her children at various local non-profit organizations.  Freda speaks Mandarin and Cantonese Chinese as well as German.
