Now in its fifth year, the AVPN Conference will bring together a diverse group of funders and resource providers from around the globe to take part in the largest gathering of philanthropists and social investors in Asia. This year’s theme “Collaboration for Impact” reflects the importance of partnership across sectors and borders when addressing some of Asia’s most urgent issues.
On Thursday, June 8th at 2pm, Give2Asia President & CEO Birger Stamperdahl will moderate a panel discussion entitled “Challenges and Opportunities of Regional Grantmaking”. Drawing from his experience at Give2Asia, Birger will lead the speakers in conversation about the challenges of cross-border giving and the importance of listening to and learning from the needs of local communities. This session will look to help aspiring regional grantmakers learn from existing practitioners from a range of sectors including international foundations and multinational corporations.
