Recently, the Asia Foundation’s Chen Liuting wrote a piece about the China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation helping recovery efforts in Nepal following the 7.8-magnitude earthquake on April 25.

The CFPA was one of the first response teams to Nepal, offering vital help to the disaster victims. This highlights how far Chinese foundations have come and how they are now looking to expand the scope of their work. Give2Asia is proud to work with CFPA to help them strengthen and support neighboring countries in Asia using their experiences alleviating poverty in China.

On September 30, Give2Asia will hold a forum preceding its awards gala, Ignite & Inspire, featuring CFPA Secretary General Liu Wenkui. During the Ending Poverty Forum, the heads of 4 major Chinese Foundations will discuss the evolving landscape of foundations in China. Learn more about our forum and RSVP!
