Filipino by blood, Canadian-born and a bay area native, Lara is a human biology major at Stanford University. Concurrent with her international health focus, her interest lies in women’s reproductive rights in the Philippines. She plans to apply to medical school in the future, but with the aim of practicing public health and epidemiology. Apart from academics and work, she also enjoys cooking, photography, and volleyball!
