SUMMARY OF INTERNSHIP
Give2Asia seeks multiple interns to work with the Programs and Marketing units in its San Francisco offices.  Interns will work with members of the Programs Unit and Marketing Unit to support program development, donor stewardship, communications, and grant-making goals.  Specific duties may include:

• writing new proposals, custom programs, and donor reports;
• collecting and synthesizing organizational and grant impact data; 
• conducting program research; 
• researching and writing informational and educational materials, including contributions to Give2Asia's blog and website;
• developing the Greatest Needs portfolio of projects;
• assisting in event planning and preparation; and
• some office management tasks, as needed. 

Specific projects will be based on qualifications and demonstrated proficiency. 

A small stipend is available.  This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to an international not-for-profit working in the field of international philanthropy. Candidates who are available for a minimum of 20 hours per week for at least 3 months will receive priority. Longer internships are possible based on performance. The Give2Asia Programs and Marketing internships are an ongoing opportunity and applications are accepted on a rolling basis. 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Internships are available for individuals with either a Bachelor's or Master's Degree.  Other qualifications should include relevant work experience and interest in international philanthropy and/or Asian affairs; strong research, writing, and editing skills; computer and internet proficiency; excellent interpersonal skills; and a desire to learn.  Working knowledge of an Asian language is preferred, but not required.
